  Landstar Management is one of those predatory management companies. After viewing one of their studio apartments, I applied online. I was charged a $40 "application fee", and I was notified two days later that I was not approved because my credit wasn't perfect. I could understand this if the apartment were nicer than it is, but it is in a sketchy area of Uptown that is the center of a gang turf war with multiple shootings on the street. Have fun with the $40 you did absolutely nothing to earn!
